Death From Above 1979.

Death from Above 1979, foi uma banda original de Toronto, Canadá, cujos seus dois membros foram Jesse F. Keeler no baixo e sintetizador, e Sebastien Grainger na bateria e voz principal. Recusando-se a ter um guitarrista, eles tocavam stoner rock/ electro com baixo e bateria. Inicialmente eles eram Death from above, mas devido a problemas com James Murphy (LCD soundsystem) acrescentaram 1979 (ano de nascença de Sebastien) Actualmente eles não tocam juntos, tendo o Jesse F. Keeler um novo projecto de música electrónica, MSTRKRFT ou masterkraft, com o produtor AL-P. Sebastien Grainger tem também um projecto de música electrónica chamado Girl on Girl que chegou a remixar DFA no álbum Romance Bloody Romance.
