A KISS A DAY/THE POP SUCKER

"france's mondrian is one of the most exciting bands i've heard in a while. i'm not usually a sucker for the kind of wistful, melancholy, dreamy pop that mondrian produces. but in this case, i've given in. check their new tune "a kiss a day." = http://networkedblogs.com/fn1OW"

POP SHOP/THE POP SUCKER

"i found this gem over at we all want someone to shout for. mondrian is a french (and from the looks of it very sexy) band whose debut EP pop shop contains this tune, "things that money can't buy." it's a wonderfully nuanced performance, multi-layered in its intricacies, and demanding repeat listens. the lyrics are mournful, but the overall feeling isn't entirely melancholy, which adds a wonderful touch to an already exquisite song." = http://thepopsucker.blogspot.com/2010/11/things-that-money-cant-buy.html
