Megasus - Megasus (2009).

Megasus é uma banda de sludge/stoner de Providence, Rhode Island, formada em 2006 por membros da banda Lightning Bolt, e por ex-integrantes do Amazing Royal Crowns, Laurels e Scared Stiffs.

Em meados de 2006, Ryan Lesser (Laurels), Jason Kendall (Amazing Royal Crowns) e Paul Lyons (Scared Stiffs) convidaram Dare Matheson, da banda Made In Mexico, para tocar bateria para a gravação da música “Red Lottery” como uma música bônus para o jogo Guitar Hero 2. Após a gravação, Matheson saiu da banda, e entrou o baixista do Lightning Bolt Brian Gibson como baterista por tempo integral.

Projeto Trator.

Em primeiro lugar, eu gostaria de deixar registrado nesse post, a imensa satisfação que tenho em colocar aqui no blog, o trabalho de bandas brasileiras, principalmente sabendo da qualidade dessas bandas na medida em que vou descobrindo cada uma delas. Neste caso, trago aqui o "Projeto Trator" duo de São Paulo, Brasil. Eles tocam um som que gira em torno do Stoner/Sludge com algumas melodias que grudam como chiclete, sempre mantendo presente o PESO.

Câimbra é um quinteto de São Paulo, Brasil. Eles tocam uma espéciae de Sludge / Stoner Metal, com uma pegada bem Metal e alguma influência hardcore. Neste EP (É Tudo Uma Mentira), a banda apresenta cinco faixas autorais, que são muito bem executadas. Todas as letras são cantadas em Português. Bom disco. E como eu vi comentado num outro blog aí... "É Brasil porra!!!"
